那須の別荘族に人気で話題の、小さなお寿司屋さんを訪れました。
I visited a small sushi restaurant that is popular with villa owners in Nasu.

店内は椅子席でテーブルも広く、寛げます。
ディナーで訪れたのでコースメニューでしたが、他の方と注文が重なって繁忙になり過ぎないように、少しずつ予約時間をズラしていらっしゃる様子で、落ち着いて食事ができました。
Inside, all seats are chairs, and the tables are wide, so it is easy to relax.
I visited for dinner and ate a course menu. They adjust reservation times so orders do not overlap too much, and we could enjoy our meal in a calm way.

「ん？これは？」。
カオリが座った席の横には、何やら見たことのあるイラストが。
I thought, "What is this?"
Next to my seat, there was an illustration that looked familiar.

「米倉万美さんのイラストでは？」。
お店の方に伺ったところ、那須町在住のイラストレーター米倉万美さんが来店された際に、お連れの方に促されて、ボードに直接イラストを描いてくださったとのことでした。
直筆のイラストがココにあるとは、かなり貴重かも。
I wondered if it was by Mami Yonekura.
When I asked the staff, they said that Mami Yonekura, an illustrator who lives in Nasu, drew this directly on the board during her visit, at the request of the person with her.
It feels very special to see this original illustration here.

そして、メインのお寿司はもちろん、絶品でした。
お寿司をたくさん食べられて大満足。
The main dish, the sushi, was excellent.
I ate a lot of sushi and felt very satisfied.

美味しいお寿司を頂きながら寛げるので、別荘族の方々に人気があるのも頷けます。
Nasubei is a sushi restaurant with a warm, homely atmosphere.
