初詣を終えたあとは、那須温泉神社オリジナルの茄子型のお守りをゲット。
ナスの花は結実する割合が高いことから「無駄がない」と言われています。
努力が無駄にならない、実りの多い年になるといいな～。
After I finished my New Year visit, I bought the shrine’s original eggplant-shaped charm.
Because eggplant flowers almost always bear fruit, people say they mean that no effort is wasted.
I hope this year will be full of good results for my efforts.

神社の脇に何やら興味深い立て看板が。
どうやら、愛宕神社へ至る道があるようです。
Next to the shrine I found an interesting signboard.
It says there is a path that leads to Atago Shrine.

散策がてら、少し歩いてみることにしました。
雪が残っているので要注意。
I decided to walk along the path for a little stroll.
There was still some snow left on the ground, so I had to be careful.

愛宕神社に到着しました。
ちょっとした冒険を終えた気分。
Soon I arrived at Atago Shrine.
I felt as if I had finished a small adventure.

ですが、問題は下りの階段でした。
急で手すりもないのでかなり怖いですぅ～ハラハラドキドキ。
The real challenge came when I went down the stairs.
The stairs are very steep and there is no handrail, so it was quite scary and my heart was pounding.

年始の初詣には、多くの人が訪れて賑わいを見せます。
那須温泉神社オリジナルの茄子型のお守りも可愛いのでグッド。
通勤用のカバンにアクセサリーとして付けても全然ＯＫですよ。
At New Year, many people visit this shrine for their first prayers of the year.
The original eggplant-shaped charm is very cute and I recommend it.
You can also use it as a small accessory on your everyday work bag.
