和紙をベースにした作品は掛け軸にしてもとてもイイ感じです。 Artworks made with washi paper also look very good when they are displayed like hanging scrolls.

松原さんは富山出身のアーティストです。
最近は富山で漉いた和紙に、壁画で使われるようなオリジナルの絵の具を盛り付けて絵を描き、それをヤスリがけして造り出す、何とも言えない味わいのある作品を手掛けていらっしゃいます。 Mr. Matsubara is an artist from Toyama.
Recently, he paints on washi paper made in Toyama using his own pigments, similar to paint used for murals. Then he sands the surface and creates artworks with a deep and unique texture.
