え、こんなところに？と思うような住宅地の中にあるラーメン店ですが、地元では有名なお店です。
The shop is in a residential area, so you may be surprised to find it, but it is very famous among locals.

実はラーメン通の間では超有名な白河ラーメンの元祖「とら食堂」の分店なのです。
In fact, it is a branch of “Tora Shokudo,” the original Shirakawa ramen shop that ramen fans know very well.

縮れた手打ち麺が何とも言えない歯ざわり。
スープも意外とあっさりしていて、これならいくらでも食べられそう。
The curly handmade noodles have a firm, chewy texture.
The broth is light, so you can eat the whole bowl easily.

そしてカオリの密かな注目点は、お持ち帰り用のチャーシューが販売されていること。
I also like that they sell chashu that you can take home.

店舗で食べた美味しいチャーシューを自宅でも楽しめちゃうなんて嬉しい。
２袋分も購入してしまいました。
It is nice that you can enjoy at home the same chashu you eat in the shop.
I bought two packs to take home.

（カオリの注目ポイント） (Kaori’s Highlights)

暖簾が出ていなくて、しかもラーメンの看板もないので、一般住宅のような雰囲気です。
駐車場に車が停まっていなければ、通り過ぎてしまうところでした。
「本当にここでいいのかしらん？」と思いながら入ると、お店の中にはお客さんがいっぱい。
そのギャップが面白いと思いました。
There is no shop curtain outside and no big ramen sign, so it looks like an ordinary house.
If there were no cars in the parking lot, I could easily drive past it.
I went inside, wondering “Is this really the right place?”, and I found many customers inside.
The simple outside and the busy inside make an interesting contrast.
