Sabou Shiroyama

茶房城山1
I heard about this teahouse from a taxi driver on a sightseeing tour.
Local people say their oyaki (stuffed dumplings) and anmitsu (sweet dessert) are especially delicious.

Even before I went inside, I liked its calm, traditional look.
It feels just like a classic Japanese teahouse.

Inside, many customers seemed to be regular visitors.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and people enjoy slow conversations over tea.

I ordered anmitsu.
It looked very good!

茶房城山6

It tasted very good.
I do not usually eat anmitsu, but this one is not too sweet or heavy, so I felt I could eat a lot of it.
I also heard that their oyaki is excellent, so I want to try it next time I visit.
