つまりあこぎではないということ。 Resort House is not like a typical real estate agency in the Nasu Highlands.
They are not pushy and not greedy.

中間マージンを極力押さえたお買い得な土地を紹介して頂けます。 They offer reasonably priced plots and keep intermediary fees as low as possible.

カオリが土地を買うときも厳しい予算の中で出来るだけ条件の良い土地を色々と紹介して頂きました。 When I (Kaori) looked for land, they showed me many plots that met my conditions, even though my budget was small.

しかも契約はローン条項付きにして頂き、ローンが組めなければ手付金も返金してくれるという他の不動産屋さんでは考えられないような良心的な条件を提示してくれました。 They also added a loan condition to the contract.
If my mortgage was not approved, they would refund my deposit.
This is a very considerate condition that you rarely see at other agencies.

結局、カオリはリゾートハウスの鈴木社長から希望通りの土地を希望通りの予算で購入することが出来ました。
土地を購入した後も、時々、現場の状況を見てまわる鈴木社長とお会いしてお話をします。
山菜採りが好きでよく山に出かけるのだとのこと。
この前、山菜をたくさん送って頂いておいしく頂きました。
鈴木社長はカオリが建築をお願いした一級建築士の 円谷さんとも大変仲が良く、たまに一緒にお酒を飲んだりするそうです。 In the end, thanks to President Suzuki of Resort House, I could buy the land I wanted within my planned budget.

Mr. Suzuki is also on good terms with Mr. Tsuburaya, the first-class architect who designed my house, and I hear they sometimes go out drinking together.

リゾートハウスさんは那須高原で分譲別荘地以外の土地を仲介できる数少ない不動産屋さんです。
分譲別荘地以外の土地を仲介することは他の不動産屋さんはあまりやりたがらないそうです。
何故かといえば独自に土地を開発する為には、地主さんと話をつけて土地を整地して、町の水道を通して、位置指定道路を造ってと、売り出すまでにとても手間がかかるからです。
しかしリゾートハウスさんは敢えてそれに取り組んでいます。
それは、何かとお金ばかりかかる分譲別荘地に疑問を感じ、もっと手頃で良い土地を開発して供給したいという情熱があるからです。
また、昔から整地した土地を他の不動産屋さんに流す大元のお仕事をされていたという経緯もあり、人間的なネットワークが広いというのも要因です。
「地元で長く商売をしていくためには悪いことは出来ません。だから土地以外の不動産には手を出さないんです。自分の分からないことに手を出して、お客様からの質問に適当に答えたら、ウソを付くことになってしまうでしょう？そういうのは嫌いなんです」そうリゾートハウスの鈴木社長はおっしゃっていました。
リゾートハウスさんが開発した以外の土地であっても「あの土地が欲しい」と言えば仲介に入って頂くことも可能だそうです。
地元の事情に詳しくて信頼できる不動産屋さんにあいだに入って頂くことはとても安心感があります。
不動産業界はとても素人が太刀打ちできるような業界ではありませんから。 Resort House is one of the few agencies in the Nasu Highlands that can handle land outside the large resort villa developments.
I have heard that many other agents do not want to handle this kind of land.
The reason is that independent land development needs a lot of work before sale: talking with landowners, leveling the land, bringing in town water, and building access roads.
Even so, Resort House chooses to do this work.
They feel that resort villa areas cost too much money, and they want to develop and offer good land at more reasonable prices.
Another reason is their history as a main supplier of prepared land to other real estate companies, which gave them a wide human network.
“To keep doing business in the local area for a long time, we cannot do dishonest things. That is why we only handle land, not buildings. If we dealt with things we do not fully understand and gave vague answers to customer questions, it would be the same as lying. I really dislike that,” President Suzuki of Resort House told me.
Even for land that they have not developed themselves, they can also act as an intermediary if you say, “I want that land.”
It is very reassuring to have a trustworthy agency that knows the local situation well stand between you and the seller.
After all, real estate is not an industry where beginners can easily manage things alone.
